Does anyone not like cocktails..?  Lottie Muir, The Cocktail Gardener, who also runs Midnight Apothecary, is popping up for a residency at Blush in Stoke Newington every Thursday, with like jazz, and cheese and charcuterie boards.

"What better way to kick off Easter frivolities than the launch night of The Cocktail Gardener residency At Blush, a hidden gem of a bar in Stoke Newington. The Cocktail Gardener aka Lottie Muir, creator of legendary pop-up roof garden cocktail bar Midnight Apothecary, is coming in from the cold to serve up exquisite seasonal cocktails and infusions every Thursday night, 6.30pm - 11.30pm.  "It will be a small, candle-lit affair with a bit of 1940s swing jazz on the jukebox" she says. "Apart from keeping the frost bite at bay, I wanted somewhere to showcase some really special cocktails that I don't get the chance to do make at Midnight Apothecary where we are catering for upwards of 250 people. Blush is the perfect intimate space to do that".  Treats in store for her first week include the Ruhubarbra Streisand with white rum, house-made rhubarb syrup and lime juice with candied rhubarb and shiso leaves. Or why not try the Grapefruit Pillow with vodka, tequila, freshly squeezed grapefruit and agave nectar served with a grapefruit foam and edible flowers.  "Imagine sipping on a tequila saturated cloud with a marshmallow to rest your head on." You'll be able to wash down her beautiful plant-powered creations with cheese and charcuterie boards, house-made chutneys and local bread."
