The Village Green Sunday Market in Hackney Downs

From Sunday 2nd March there's going to be a new weekly market at Hackney Downs Studios in Amhurst Terrace, with Terrone Coffee Co, Cast Iron Kitchen, Mama's Jerk Station and more, plus The Signature Brew's craft beer bar.  But it's not just food - there will also be clothing and craft stalls, and the bike shop The Hackney Peddler will be screening bicycle-related films.

"We are pleased to announce the return of The Village Green Market Sunday 2nd March at Hackney Downs Studios.
The market exists to bring people together and showcase local talent in the heart of our creative hub, featuring makers, creators, food stall traders and cocktail shakers.
On a Sunday, we’re often hungry, so we’ve invited a bunch of really great food traders to come along and feed you, including Cast Iron Kitchen, Galbi Bros and Mama’s Jerk Station, plus shakes and cakes.
Netil Market favourites Terrone Coffee Co. will be on hand for your caffeine fix, The Signature Brew boys are running a craft ale bar and we’ll have a stall selling organic fruit and veg for your Sunday roasting. And if you’d prefer someone to do it for you, Roasts will be served all afternoon at The Russet.
The chaps from The Hackney Peddler will be screening a bicycle-related movie come dusk. Head to theirs for bicycle sales and repairs,
Wardrobe revamps, one off pieces and a range of holistic therapies will be on offer at our shop fronts.
The Village Green is the ideal setting for the Hackney creative community to come together – mix and feast amongst our local street food traders, local creatives and local beers. Sunday is Funday."

When - Sundays from 2nd March, 11am - 4pm
