Waffle time! On Thursday 8th September Waffle Lion is popping up at The Common E2 on Old Bethnal Green Road, for a night of delicious waffles, both sweet and savoury. It starts at 6pm, and you really should be there!
"Waffle Lion, maker of delicious savoury and sweet waffles, is popping up at The Common E2 on Old Bethnal Green Road for one night only on 8th September.
Expect uncommon waffle-delights like slow roasted mutton shoulder with pomegranate molasses, yoghurt and fresh mint, or seasonal blackberries with whipped cream for dessert! These may be the best waffles you’ve ever tasted.
Waffles will be paired with prosecco, wine, spirits and local craft beer all served up in a bright and lively communal space. No bookings will be taken for the popup, so head down from 6pm for dinner (first come first served).
Everyone is welcome! Bring along your family and friends to enjoy Waffle Lion’s tasty menu at The Common E2.

Slow roasted mutton shoulder with sticky pomegranate molasses, maple syrup yogurt, pomegranate seeds and fresh mint
Ragstone Goats Cheese, caramalised onions and rocket, drizzled with maple syrup
Blackberries and whipped cream, drizzled with maple syrup"
