HAM's 2nd Birthday Pop-up Shop for Gifts, Paper Goods & Homewares at Boxpark

Quirky British gifts and homewares brand HAM is popping up for 4 days at Boxpark this July to celebrate it's 2nd birthday.  I remember meeting Jo at her first ever pop-up at Kingly Court back in 2011 - this site was also very new - and it's been great to see the brand's progress since then.

"This July, British homeware and paper goods brand HAM turns two! To celebrate HAM will be popping up at Boxpark, launching its very latest design ʻFlying Rabbitʼ and showcasing its first collection of carefully crafted notebooks.
From Wednesday 10th July to Sunday 14th July, HAM will open its birthday store at Unit 8, Boxpark, East London. The full range will be on sale, including its sought after screen prints, now available for the first time in a larger size. Along with HAM’s latest design, Flying Rabbit, Jo will also be launching the brandʼs first set of British made lined notebooks featuring HAMʼs popular Rabbit designs.
Over the past two years HAM has gained a following for its bold silhouettes capturingunexpected moments from the contented lives of a Pig, a Rabbit and a Horse.
HAM's minimal aesthetic seeks to add a serious edge to its playful subject matter. Nostalgia and a fascination with the banal are key themes that continue to inform Joʼs growing range of animal motifs, which can be found on premium cotton tea towels (£9), hand pulled screen prints (standard £28 and large £42), lined notebooks (£5.50), fine bone china mugs (£11) and litho printed greeting cards (£2.75)."

Quill London's Pop-up Shop in Bermondsey

Stationery brand Quill London are opening a pop-up shop for one night only on Bermondsey Street this coming Thursday (29th).  It's a great chance to get your hands on some goods that are normally only sold online.

"On Thursday 29th November, for one night only, Quill will be 'popping up' at Cave boutique on uber-trendy Bermondsey street. 
Please join us for a drink from 6-9pm and of course you'll be able to browse our stylish stationery goodies and christmas gifts in person.
We're delighted to be hosted by Cave, an undiscovered gem of a shop dedicated to wines, vintage-inspired flowers and artisan chocolates. Cave is at 210 Bermondsey Street, SE1 3TQ (10 minutes walk from London Bridge stations) 
Why not make an evening of it in the foodie-mecca of Bermondsey Street? Come to us for a drink and a shop, and then go for a bite to eat and glass of trendy manzanilla at my favourite tapas bar Jose's, or some British nosh at award-winning gastropub The Garrison. (Be sure to book in advance, though, they are both always so busy) If you're around before 6pm, pay a visit to the new White Cube gallery next door."

HAM Pop-up Shop near Carnaby Street

Jo Robinson's HAM brand celebrates its first birthday with a pop-up shop in Kingly court, off Carnaby Street.  I first met Jo when she held her pop-up last year, and I really love her very beautiful and original designs.  The shop's only open for a week, so don't miss out.

"British homeware and paper goods brand, HAM, will showcase its latest designs - Diving Rabbit, Partying Pig and Cake Baking Pig - along with its new screen print collection at its birthday pop-up shop in 2.3 Kingly Court, Carnaby Street, London from Sunday 29th July to Sunday 5th August.
Naturally Olympic fever has gripped the HAM clan; in particular Pig and Rabbit who have been out come rain or shine trampolining, swimming, scooting, partying and generally getting into the swing of things. Jo Robinson, the East London based designer behind HAM, has been busily capturing these animal escapade in silhouette form and working with British printers, potters and manufacturers to bring each to life on a range of quirky products for the home.  To celebrate its first birthday HAM will be offering customers up to 25% off the entire range in its Kingly Court pop-up store.
HAM captures unexpected moments from the contented lives of a Pig, a Horse and a Rabbit on a range of thoughtfully crafted and 100% British made wares. Jo Robinson established HAM in 2011. A farmer’s daughter, she grew up in the Shires before training as a fine artist at The Ruskin School of Drawing.
Jo strongly believes in supporting British industry and for that reason has spent time carefully selecting UK suppliers to help craft her products. HAM is proud to say that its fine bone china mugs are created by a pottery in Stoke-on-Trent, the greeting cards are printed by a press in Worcestershire, all fabric goodies are Lincolnshire made and its screen prints are fashioned by Jo in an East London studio.
HAM launched in July last year with a pop-up shop in Carnaby Street. Since then the range has been available online (hammade.com) and from January 2012 through select UK retailers including Liberty London and Graham and Green."

Anzu Presents 'Pomp' British Pop-up Shop in Shoreditch

Stationery brand Anzu are popping up in Hoxton Street to offer a range of their goods, and also some classically British gifts from other designers.

"Anzu is proud to present Pomp, a British Pop-up shop in the heart of Olympic London. Experience true British style and enter a unique world beyond the high street, with pieces by established as well as up-and-coming London designers, UK vintage finds, and one off and limited edition pieces. Floral phones, Swarovski crown clutch bags, punk rocker prints, garden rose scarves, top hats, butterfly necklaces, London cards and prints and lots more!
Anzu was founded in 1999, creating luxury stationery and gifts featuring hand-painted illustrations. The Pomp pop-up shop is taking place in the Anzu studio in the busy heart of Hoxton (close to Hoxton Square and just off Old Street). As well as selling Anzu pieces, the Pomp shop is selling some truly great British finds.
Various events will be taking place in the store between 25th July and 26th July."
